Journey On: Spiritual Disciplines Needed for the Journey

Daily time with God will always be a battle because you will always have other things competing for your time. You will always have to choose what is most important and the priority of your time. Ask yourself: Is it really important? And am I willing to commit to meeting God each day?

When you fall in love with Jesus, you can’t help spending that time together. It’s worth it to wake up early or stay up late to read your Bible. You can’t wait to have uninterrupted time to pray and you want to hear everything He says. You want to know what Jesus thinks about everything in your life. When you experience this love with Jesus, you will never want to be without His presence.

KIM BALL has a passion and enthusiasm for teaching God’s Word that began when she was a teenager. For over 30 years, she has been a teacher of the Bible at her church, within her community, and in her home. Kim is an avid runner and stays busy teaching, writing, and working as an occupational therapist at a rehabilitation hospital and for Titus Women’s Ministry. Kim and her husband, Robert, have been married for 25 years and are the parents of two adult children.
