7 Deadly Sins vs. 7 Cardinal Virtues: Humility

Dr. Daryl Diddle of the Wilmore Free Methodist Church leads us through our 3rd session covering the topic of humility.

SUMMARY: In contrasting each of the seven deadly sins with their opposite virtues, we can gain insight and mature in holiness (see Colossians 3:5–17). Cultivating the cardinal virtues is not the solution for sin—only the atoning work of Christ does that—but it can lead to a healthy, holy life. In these 16 sessions, we’ll study each deadly sin in contrast to its opposite virtue so that we can grow in grace and be better equipped to present ourselves holy and pleasing to God, which is our spiritual act of worship (Romans 12:1).
