The objective of this Bible reading plan is to read through the entire Bible in one calendar year. This plan differs from other Bible reading plans in two aspects. First, the Bible is read through in roughly chronological order: the Old Testament prophets in context with the historical events of the nation of Israel, and Paul’s letters to churches and individuals in the order they were written. The second aspect of the reading plan is that the New Testament is read in parallel with the Old Testament.
