John Wycliffe’s Lengthening Shadow

Lengthening Shadow is the gripping story of how John Wycliffe taught Christian men the Bible and sent them out to preach. His “poor preachers” survived him by 200 years. After he had rendered the Bible into English, John Wycliffe’s vision moved to reform. Thus he gathered about him sincere Christian men, taught them in the Scriptures, and trained them to effectively present the message of salvation to seeking minds and hearts. Then he sent them out, two by two, to preach the gospel across England. He instructed them so well, they could not stop preaching, in spite of threats, persecution, and later death at the stake. Today’s evangelical church is still touched by Wycliffe’s shadow.
