The 5Q Method of Discipleship

Over the years Matt tried using various models of small group discipleship in the seminary where he teaches and in the churches where he served, but sadly, all of those efforts seemed somewhat lackluster.

Then a couple of years ago he met Hal Perkins. Knowing of their similar passion for discipleship, friends and acquaintances had tried to get them together for a few years now; finally, it happened. Hal introduced Matt to a model for group meetings based on a series of questions and challenges used by Jesus in the gospels. I was impressed and adopted this model in seminary classes and at Church, where it seemed to be far more effective than anything I have previously used.
