The seduction of politics and governmental power is great even among Christians. This little tract, using a wide variety of Scriptures, reminds us that our hope must never be in Washington or the political schemes of man. As Christians, we are called to live and work for the kingdom of God. In this tract, Stan Key suggests, somewhat tongue-in-cheek, that it is time perhaps to promote Jesus as a third-party write-in candidate for president. When he comes again in power and glory, “the government will be on his shoulders… and of the increase of his government there will be no end” (Isaiah 9:6–7). This sermon is in reality a call to prayer: “Make America good again.”
