Amid the resurgence of interest in Reformed accounts of the scope and sequence of salvation, many in Wesleyan/Methodist circles find themselves unfamiliar with their own tradition’s teachings on the subject. At the same time, the very notion of an order of salvation has been challenged by some both within and beyond Wesleyan circles. The chapters in this book originated as papers presented to the Wesleyan Studies Group at the 2021–2023 annual meetings of the Evangelical Theological Society held each November.
