Out of Egypt

Though Egypt served as a land of refuge many times in the Old Testament, it was not the Israelite’s true home. God had prepared a land for his people that was far better than this temporary home. And as Rev. Sturgeon writes, “Rest assured that God, the Holy Spirit, who has given you the will to leave Egypt, will also give you the strength—and you shall come marching out, having eaten of the Passover Lamb!”
